Michelle is directing an all women of color show, Phenomenal Woman, That I Am! at the 2009 Deaf Women of Color Conference III @ Little Theatre, LaGuardia Community College in Queens, NY. Michelle has been selected as one of 13 actors for the 2008 ABC Talent Showcase in New York City! She is the only deaf actor in that group. The showcase takes place at the Acorn Theatre on 42nd Street on October 6th, 2008.

Michelle will be the keynote speaker for the conference - IMPARTATION '08 - "More Than A Conference But An Encounter With God" in Montgomery, AL. She will speak and perform on Saturday, October 11th, 2008. Check for more information - www.enablelight.com. 

Michelle Banks, nationally-known stage and television actress is currently in rehearsals for STORY THEATRE in the Washington metropolitan area.
